I was taken to Hospital in Ambulance

On Saturday 18th whilst out shopping for Michael's school uniform in Asda, I had a funny turn where left arm went numb and tingly. Also left side of face went the saem and David said my lip had dropped. I sat in the cafe for an hour till I felt better. To add to this my sister Bev and her hubby Barry were in there too and saw what was happening to me. I felt queasy for the rest of the day. Gosh it was scary !!!

On Sunday I felt queasy most of the day but no more funny turns.

On Monday morning about 7.20 am whilst in kitchen wiping the sides down I had another funny turn with left arm and left side of face going numb and tingly again. David returned from walking Tiny and rang New Doc at local hospital. They called back and told him to ring an ambulance. A short while later a paramedic arrived. She asked loads of questions and put me on oxygen. She said she was getting a ambulance to take me to hospital. They arrived shortly afterwards and took me to the George Eliot.

I was kept at the GE for over 2 hours and fully examined. They discharged me saying my blood pressure was up and I was to see my GP. I saw my GP later on Monday. He said that he thinks I had two TIA's which are mini strokes. He gave me some tablets to take twice a day and a form for blood tests. I am going for the results on Wednesday next week.

I went for my blood tests on Tuesday morning and took the rest of this week of work to rest. It was very scary. I also scared David, Michael and Alan. Wish Bev was here to give me a hug but she is now in Costa Rica for 2 weeks weell deserved holiday.

Thankfully no more funny turns. I am off up to our caravan Saturday morning till Monday with Michael to blow some cobwebs away. Yes my stitching is packed too.

On Tuesday I started sewing Maria and Johns Wedding Present from Cross Stitch Collection. After I have stitched this I will get back onto 'The Baby' for Kate and Andy.

I will update my blog with results when I get them.

Take care and best wishes xx
